The photographer's journey is intended to inspire you and offer you unique landscapes and animal photographs that are typical of the Camargue. Forget the search for locations and breeders and focus on your most beautiful pictures.
Tag 1 - Sonntag 5. September 2021
In the morning we leave in Frankfurt in a comfortable van and drive over Alsace past Dijon and Lyon to our hotel in Aigues-Mortes.
In the evening there is the possibility to eat together in the historic centre of Aigues-Mortes in the restaurant and explore the city.
Tag 2 - Montag, 6. September 2021
In the morning we head to the first scene in the swamps. Be sure to insert rubber boots and mosquito repellent. The horses are presented to you by the shepherds and driven so that everyone has the opportunity to shoot his perfect picture.
After returning to the hotel, a rich French breakfast buffet awaits you.
At lunchtime you can deal with your pictures, relax by the pool or take part in a tour to the salt pans.
At sunset we drive to the next location on the beach and you will be presented again the horses in the splashing water on the beach and at sunset in the dunes.

Tag 3 - Dienstag, 7. September 2021
Today, after breakfast, we go to the traditional farm (Manade) with cattle breeding. The shepherds separate the bulls on the agile Camargue horses and there are great movement scenes.
At lunchtime you have the opportunity to take part in an excursion to get to know the surroundings or you can explore the place on your own.
The last scene becomes dramatic and the shepherds present you stallions in the evening light. Rising stallions in the game of rivals.
In the evening you can take part in a cosy evening (soirée) on a farm with traditional singing and food.
Tag 4 - Mittwoch, 8. September 2021
Return day to Frankfurt. Arrival will then be in the late afternoon.

- Transport from Frankfurt to Aigues-Mortes and back (fuel and tolls included)
- Transport to the locations with all permits (private routes)
- Overnight stay at a 3-star hotel in Aigues-Mortes including a rich breakfast
- Scenes as described with our location guide and local shepherds
- Small group of photographers with a maximum of 10 people
Lunch, dinner and drinks are not part of the offer.
As with all animal and nature pictures, we have no influence on the weather conditions and the mood of the animals – so we cannot guarantee that the stallions fight with each other.
The order of the scenes may vary depending on the conditions on site and the availability of the shepherds.
